I have encountered bad rounds with Federal and IMI, but never with W-W. i have shot a LOT of it in .45 acp and 115-gr 9mm.. Millions of rounds are loaded every day by the mfgrs. You are the final QC Control on the ammo you load into your firearms. I look at the entire box of ammo looking for primers inserted backwards or deformed.

With other brands' bargain ammo I have found defects, I found a double stamped primer in a box of Federal Premium, a primer set sideways in CCI Blazers, and inconsistent bullet set
Winchester finally responded to my inquiry about the "dud" rounds I encountered while shooting their White Box 9mm ammo. After testing the ammo I sent in to them they claim that the ammo I submitted meets their standards in all respects.
I bought the 100 round box and fire them all through my M&P Shield with no duds, no stovepipes, etc. Powder is relatively clean, like Winchester white box target loads. Hoping to get lucky soon and find a larger bulk pack.
